Buying Broadway Tickets

I visit New York each year.  My main purpose is to see as many theater shows as possible.  I love all types of theater including Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway.  I also enjoy musicals and Broadway has many of these shows.

When I look for theater tickets I usually go online.  Before my last trip to New York I bought all my tickets online.  These included NY Broadway tickets including Jersey Boys and Avenue Q as well as Off-Broadway tickets.  The great thing about buying tickets online is that there is no hassle.  You dont have to line up for them or deal with scalpers.  Even tickets for sold out shows can be found online.

I am looking forward to my next trip to New York and hitting more Broadway shows.  Hopefully I will be able to satisfy all my needs by buying my tickets online again.

Map Collection Covers Walls

I love to collect things. I collect stamps, Hot Wheels and maps–just to name a few. But my favorite collection is my map collection. I really enjoy this one because it’s educational and I learn a lot about geography and history.

I have a lot of maps. My Greece maps hang on the wall in my study. I love these because my father is from Greece and I get to learn about my heritage. I also have a map of Africa hanging in there because I have always wanted to visit there.

But the country that I have the most maps of is Mexico. My Mexico maps cover an entire wall in the study. I’ve been to almost all of the Mexican states. I like Tabasco the best. Mostly because of the hot sauce that is made there.

Connected Software Converts for You

Have you ever purchased a new computer and when you needed to move you move your email address book but found that you couldn’t? Well, I had that problem when I got a new computer at work and I needed you use Outlook. I couldn’t find AOL email convert Outlook.

I went online and did a search for "export AOL address book" and found the web site for a company called Connected Software. They had everything that I could ever need for my converting needs.

I also needed to convert my blackberry address book to my desktop. They had programs for that also. I was so excited that I told my boss and he went out and purchased it !

Area Rugs Tie Rooms Together

My husband and I just signed the papers for a new house. I cannot wait to move but they have to build it first. So, in the meantime I decided to start collecting the new furnishings and decorations because the new place is a lot bigger than where we are now.

I don’t have tile floors now so I’m going to need new rugs for every room just about. I’ll need several kitchen throw rugs and maybe several contemporary area rugs.

The great thing  about getting rugs is that they match all decorating color schemes and they really help to tie the entire room together. In fact, I can tie the kitchen and great room together through the use of rugs!

Map of Canada Keeps Visitor from getting Lost

I live in between several Canadians. They like to come to California for the winter, so I see them around Christmas time. I keep an eye on their condos when they’re away. So, as a thank you they are flying me to Alberta. I’ve only been to Canada for a few days several years ago. I guess I’ll have to buy a map of Canada to make sure I know where I’m at.

I went to Germany once and didn’t think I needed a map. Boy was I wrong. I not only needed a map of Germany, I need a map of England. That’s how lost I got!

This time I will take a map with me and I think I’ll even take a geographical map too. That way I’ll know the name of all of the mountains, if there are mountains, and all of the rivers, assuming they have rivers.

Wimbledon 2008 is a Must!

Anyone that loves tennis as much as me looks forward to this time of year. The third of the Grand Slam events is quickly coming up and Wimbledon 2008 is sure to be as intense as 2007.

Last year’s  tennis tournament was wonderful to watch but what makes this year great is that I get to go to England for this grass-court event! I’ve never been to Europe and I can’t wait to see this historic event in person.

I read that after last year’s tournament, they built a roof over the court for this year but that after Wimbledon 2008, they will take it down and build a retractable roof. I’m not sure why but I’ll bring my sunscreen and a hat. I can’t wait to see the tournament in person.

Wimbledon Tennis News Coverage, When You Can’t Be There

I cannot wait for the Wimbledon tennis news coverage this year. Since I’ve never been lucky enough to go to England for this tennis tournament and I have a job, I have to catch the highlights on television. My favorite part is the men’s singles. The rivalries are great and make for really great sets.

But out of all of the Grand Slams, I would have to say that Wimbledon is by far my favorite. I think it’s because the contestants play on a grass court. The ball doesn’t bounce the way it would on any of the other courts and I think that it makes the athletes try harder.

With the buzz about yet another rematch between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, this year’s tournament is sure to spark interest with all types of people.

Chrome Wheels Make Old Car Like New

I needed to give my car an updated look without spending a fortune recently. There are several reasons why, but the most important is because I don’t want to purchase a new one and I don’t want to look like I’m driving a very dated car. The way I ended up going about this was buying new toyo tires.

These looked really great and I could not only see an immediate difference but my car was driving better. Then I decided to get some custom automotive wheels. After that I decided that I wouldn’t get a new car from a while since my car was looking for good.

It’s amazing how chrome wheels and new tires breathed so much life into my trusty automobile. Now it’s a pleasure to drive all of the time and I don’t feel embarrassed when I pull up next to a brand new ride.
